MAXTOP BATTERIES 3 YEARS WARRANTY POLICY
1. INTRODUCTION: A RISK-FREE PARTNERSHIP
At MAXTOP, we define our success by the profitability and reputation of our partners. We understand the complexities of international logistics and distribution. Therefore, we have engineered the MAXTOP 3-Year Warranty not merely as a product guarantee, but as a strategic business tool designed for Automotive Importers and Distributors.
Our commitment is simple: We provide premium power solutions protected against all material and workmanship defects, ensuring your business operates with zero risk and maximum confidence.
2. WARRANTY PERIOD & EFFECTIVE DATE
Unlike standard industry warranties that penalize importers by starting the clock at the date of manufacture, MAXTOP offers a coverage structure optimized for global trade:
Coverage Term: 36 Months (3 Years).
Commencement Date: Warranty coverage strictly begins from the date of Receipt of Shipment at the Importer’s warehouse (as verified by the Proof of Delivery or Bill of Lading arrival date).
Purpose: This clause ensures that transit time, customs clearance, and port handling do not consume your warranty validity, preserving the full 36-month value for you and your downstream customers.
3.PRODUCT APPLICATION
This warranty applies to MAXTOP Maintenance-Free and Dry-Charged batteries engineered for the following applications:
Passenger Vehicles (Cars, Sedans, Coupes)
SUVs and 4×4 Vehicles
Light Commercial Vehicles
Heavy-Duty Trucks
Note: This warranty does not cover Deep Cycle applications (e.g., Solar, Marine, Golf Carts) unless specifically designated.
4. SCOPE OF WARRANTY (WHAT IS COVERED)
MAXTOP warrants that every battery is manufactured to strict international quality standards. We cover:
Manufacturing Defects: Failures caused by internal short circuits, broken inter-cell welds, or loose plate groups.
Material Defects: Leakage from casing seals (excluding physical impact damage) or contamination of electrolyte during production.
If a battery is found to be defective under these terms, MAXTOP will provide a Prompt Replacement or a Credit Refund.
5. EXCLUSIONS (WHAT IS NOT COVERED)
The warranty is void if the battery fails due to factors beyond the control of MAXTOP manufacturing. The following conditions are excluded:
Normal Wear and Tear: Gradual decline in capacity over time due to age and usage cycles.
Improper Storage (Sulfation): Batteries allowed to sit in a discharged state (below 12.4V) for extended periods.
Deep Discharge: Batteries discharged below 10.5V due to leaving vehicle lights on, parasitic drains, or infrequent use.
Electrical System Faults: Failure caused by a faulty alternator (overcharging/undercharging) or loose voltage regulator.
Improper Installation: Wrong battery size, reverse polarity, or loose/dirty terminal connections.
Physical Damage: Cracked cases, melted posts, or tampered date codes/serial numbers.
6. IMPORTER’S OBLIGATION
To maintain the validity of this extended warranty, the Importer/Distributor agrees to:
FIFO Principle: Adhere to “First-In, First-Out” inventory management.
Maintenance Charging: Monitor stock voltage. Any battery held in stock for more than 6 months from the arrival date should receive a refresher charge.
7. CLAIMS PROCESS
We ensure a swift, simple claims process to minimize disruption to your business:
Notification: Submit a claim to your MAXTOP Account Manager via email.
Required Evidence: Provide clear photos of the battery casing/date code and a technical report (Voltage/CCA readings).
Resolution: MAXTOP engineers will review the claim within 3 working days. Upon approval, compensation will be issued immediately.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
MAXTOP’s total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the defective battery. MAXTOP shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to towing costs, installation fees, loss of time, or loss of vehicle use.
